AKA: Viajo sola (Spain)
A Five Star Life (World-wide) (English title)
Viaggio sola (A Five Star Life) is a movie based on the social relationships and vicissitudes of singles aged 40+. Directed in 2013 by Maria Sole Tognazzi and starring Stefano Accorsi, Margherita Buy, Henry Arnold and Eirik Bar, the movie was successful in theaters and enjoyed very good critical response, thanks in part to the support of the score composed by Gabriele Roberto.
The composer, in the best contemporary tradition, created a diverse soundtrack, not bound to typical, popular stylizations, in the style of composers such as Morricone, Piersanti or Buonvino.
Somewhere between classic and modern, the score has both rare and round sounds that underline the void and sentimental completeness of Irene (Buy) during her trips—a small, varied compositional treasure!
A great addition to your film music collection!
