This is the first cd reissue of the soundtrack of the movie Uno scandalo perbene (aka A proper scandal), directed in 1984 by Pasquale Festa Campanile and starring Ben Gazzara, Giuliana De Sio, Giuliana Calandra. Music was composed and conducted by Riz Ortolani. The orchestral score is pervaded by extreme romanticism mixed with a certain sadness. The romantic main theme alternates with tension and dramatic music. When the movie was released Cinevox Record issued a 33 rpm vinyl (MDF 33/165) containing ten tracks selected by the composer and with a duration of 26 minutes. This reissue includes eleven previously unreleased tracks.
