In quick succession after the release of the wonderful soundtrack from the film Fracchia contro Dracula, Maestro Zambrini gives us a brand new jewel directly from his private archives: Fantozzi subisce ancora, the fourth chapter of the epic series created by Paolo Villaggio.
This chapter finds our darling Fantozzi struggling with new mega-bosses, harassing and philosophizing tramps, absentee work colleagues and a problematic pregnancy does not disappoint. Director Neri Parenti, who inherited the series from Luciano Salce after the previous title, Fantozzi contro tutti, is assisted by the orchestral score of the talented composer who had made the leap from pop music to cinema a few years prior and was already completely comfortable in his new surroundings.
The music brings our hero into the '80s with great sympathy, extremely pleasant and never predictable. As with Fracchia contro Dracula, amazement reigns supreme, and the high quality of this score and pleasant memories of these notes associated with the images to which they were conceived will transport you back to those good old days.
An alarm that sounds in the night... A campsite in a landfill... A grotesque athletics race...
Those who have seen and experienced will remember well, and to you we offer this little masterpiece of cinema this CD packaged in a jewel case with outer cardboard slipcase (in the tradition of the DLX DDJ series dedicated to the Italian cult cinema), with a 16-page booklet, mastering by Claudio Fuiano, liner notes (in Italian and English) by Daniele De Gemini and graphic design by Alessio Iannuzzi.
