Original soundtrack from the major new action movie from Universal Pictures, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, starring Jason Statham. Anderson had a singular vision for DEATH RACE, wanting a tough, gritty look for his film. Composer Paul Haslinger's challenge was to come up with something just as uncompromisingly hardcore musically -- a score that would "reek of dirt and sweat, rust and blood" as Anderson put it. Haslinger responded with a rough, hard-edged inventive score -- exactly as the director ordered.
