Legend is proud to present for the first time ever the "Complete Original Soundtrack" from the John Huston 1966 Biblical Epic, starring Richard Harris, John Huston, Stephen Boyd, George C. Scott, Ava Gardner and
Peter O'Toole. In 1992 Intermezzo Media (IM) published the first CD edition of THE BIBLE as part of its own OST series on RCA label. Since there were extra 9 unpublished original tapes, IM wanted to publish the
complete score, but unfortunately the estimated cost of the complete edition was too high. RCA asked for an incredible high amount of money to reverse and masterize the extra Tapes on digital format.
So we decided to use the Master of the LP, "PML/PSL 10420", released on label "RCA Italiana" in 1966. After the RCA closed business in Italy, IM kept and preserved the Original Tapes of all the OST CDs made in
cooperation with RCA. So we were able to re-editing and re-mastering THE BIBLE, as we did already for Mosè, Boccaccio '70, Gesù di Nazareth, and hopefully some others in the future. Taking full advantage of the
extra 9 tapes recorded in Rome at the glorious "STUDIO A" of "RCA Italiana" in 1965, IM is publishing now an Expanded Edition of THE BIBLE Original Soundtrack, in the format of 2 CDs with total time of over 123
minutes.
The Double CD Set includes a deluxe 24 pages booklet containing Photos, Behind the scenes gallery, and 4 notes in English and Italian: "TOSHIRO MAYUZUMI", "DISCOVERING COMPOSER TOSHIRO MAYUZUMI by John Huston", "THE BIBLE and MORRICONE", and "THE BIBLE and LEGEND".
