La-La Land Records, Skydance and Apple Original Films present a limited-edition CD release of renowned composer Colin Stetson's (HEREDITY, THE MENU), original motion picture score to the feature film action/comedy MAYDAY, starring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh, and directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.
MAYDAY is a big, wildly entertaining Cold War 80s-era canvas of an action/comedy, with dynamic leads Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh radiating star-powered chemistry throughout. Composer Colin Stetson, who also performs most of the instruments heard here, fashions a wonderful and eclectic score that embodies and empowers all the film's laughs, action, and character drama in surprising and effective ways. Propulsive where needed, but also subtle and emotional throughout, the score is an unconventional treat!
Produced by Colin Stetson, this special CD release is limited to 1000 units. The art design is by Dan Goldwasser.
