This release pays homage to the popular Argentinian composer and Oscar Award winner Luis Enrique Bacalov and his contributions to Italian cinema (to which he has given so much during his long and still active career).
L'UOMO CHE SFIDO' L'ORGANIZZAZIONE (ONE MAN AGAINST THE ORGANIZATION) was directed by Sergio Grieco in 1975 starring Howard Ross, Karin Schubert and Jean-Claude Dreyfus. The great Maestro's score—a true rarity—is finally made available, filling a gap that has long needed to be filled. Cool-jazz languor, period funk, light, dissonant experiments and expressive moods are portrayed through a mutating color palette (to quote Fabio Babini, author of the liner notes). It's a real gem that we are proud to add to the Maestro's discography and to your collection of Italian cop movie scores.
