GDM Music presents on CD three OST composed by Riz Ortolani. 'Le caldi notti di Lady Hamilton' (aka 'The making of a Lady'), period drama movie by Christian-Jaque (1968) starring Michele Mercier stars as the beautiful an ambitious Emma Lyon a poor origins girl who marrying the old Lord Hamilton enters the british high society, but then she leaves him for the younger admiral Nelson. For this motion picture Ortolani has written a recurrent love theme with classic flavour . This OST appears on record complete and in full stereo for the first time. 'Tenderly' directed in 1968 by Franco Brusati and starring Virna Lisi and George Segal: delicious comedy about a chronic incompatibility of a couple, with few but brilliant music background by Riz Ortolani, represented by a romantic orchestral theme with a Beat flavour issued in those days on a Ricordi label 45 rpm single.'Cari genitori' (aka 'Dear parents') directed in 1973 by Enrico Maria Salerno and starring Florinda Bolkan, Catherine Spaak, Maria Schneider, Malcolm Stoddard. A dramatic tale about an Italian mother who leaves to London for searching for her daughter vanished for some time. The woman finds her, but the daughter has by now decided to live on her own. For this story Riz Ortolani has composed an harrowing love theme with Pop vein performed by a large orchestra developed with a monothematic way and alternate to dance floor tunes for the scenes placed in the London pub. This OST, whose two tracks were released on a RCA 45 rpm single, is issued complete and in full stereo for the first time.
