A CD completely dedicated to contemporary classical music of Ennio Morricone - that is, to a repertoire that is completely excluded for both language that intent from the most famous of soundtracks. Always the Roman master has sought to make even his most educated and this production seeks to achieve that intent proposing tracks in premiere recordings. Within the disk there is also the text of the letter that Ennio Morricone wanted to write as a thank you to the musicians who played his music not cinematographic and as explanation of the tracks on the CD. Complete this album a song, Lemma, written with his son Andrea Morricone, and a composition of Andrea (3. Traccia per clarinetto e pianoforte).
