GDM Music releases on CD the OST composed by Ennio Morricone for the dramatic film SVEGLIATI E UCCIDI (aka IL SOLISTA DEL MITRA – LUTRING... REVEILLE TOI ET MEURS) directed by Carlo Lizzani in 1966, and starring Robert Hoffman, Lisa Gastoni, Gian Maria Volonté, Marco Mariani, Corrado Olmi, Mario Morales, Roberto Maldera, Claudio Volonté. Luciano Lutring, son of a milkman of the suburbs of Milan, to conquer a girl, who agreed to stay with him, steals a car. Though without using guns and machine guns, robbery after robbery he becomes acquinted of the criminal world and eventually he meets real professional criminals. The legend of Lutring the criminal spread throughout Europe from the time the man makes use of real weapons, so to be nicknamed THE SOLOIST OF THE MACHIN GUN. The criminal will be caught in Paris. Ennio Morricone has written a noir-style OST, dominated by a main theme of jazz flavor, where the orchestra is mixed to effects of machine gun fire. A prominent love theme UNA STANZA VUOTA is also present as vocal version sung by the female protagonist of the movie Lisa Gastoni. For this special edition CD the album master tape in stereo was used , with the addition of about sixteen minutes of previously unreleased music that comes from the mono master tapes of the original session. Also included are rare versions of the song UNA STANZA VUOTA sung by Lisa Gastoni, which are the versions used in the film and the version of the single 45 pm release.
