In collaboration with Gaumont and Mandarin Production, Music Box Records is pleased to present for the first time on CD the original motion picture soundtrack of L'Empereur de Paris (The Emperor of Paris, 2018) composed and orchestrated by Marco Beltrami and Marcus Trumpp.
L'Empereur de Paris is directed by Jean-François Richet (Assault on Precinct 13, Instinct of Death, Public Enemy No.1) and stars Vincent Cassel, Olga Kurylenko, August Diehl, Freya Mavor and James Thierrée. The movie tells the story of Francois Vidocq, a real-life ex-convict who became a police detective during Napoleon's reign.
For this historical action-thriller, Marco Beltrami and Marcus Trumpp composed a powerful and emotional score. The CD release is limited to 300 units.
