Digitmovies continues its journey through adventure movies releasing, for the first time on CD, the OST by Marcello Giombini for the film "The Seven Tasks of Ali Baba" ("Le sette fatiche di Alì Babà").
For this CD (63:24 minutes) we were able to use the mono master tapes of the original recording. The author composed a recurring main score in a Middle Eastern Arabian Nights style, alternating between suspenseful music and music with violent and dramatic motifs for the battle scenes. Giombini transforms the main melody into a delicate and exotic love theme, contrasting with the exciting action scenes.

In the city of Sesame, Ali Baba is ordered to bring a golden crown to King Hassam. Hassam and his people have been taken over by the tyrant Mustafa. In order to save his people, Hassam must bring him the city's treasure-the crown, but Ali Baba refuses to do it. He goes to the tyrant to try to bargain but is arrested and tortured. He is able to escape thanks to Loto, Hassam's daughter, who helps him flee. Ali Baba then gets an army together and hides them in the "Valley of the Shadows" to wait for Mustafa. Mustafa is defeated and held prisoner and Ali Baba is finally able to be with Loto.
