This new CD release of three Stelvio Cipriani police-thriller titles is a true blockbuster - a must-have for aficionados of silver age Italian scoring, and all fans of Cipriani's wonderful style (who isn't?). The scores here brought together for the first time ever are LA POLIZIA STA A GUARDARE (1973), LA POLIZIA CHIEDE AIUTO (1974), and LA POLIZIA HA LE MANI LEGATE (1975). This fantastic release is a dream come true in that all three scores texturally and conceptually intersect - the entire recording, a total of 24 tracks, plays out as one grand symphonic structure. Because of this the newly remastered disc is a truly dynamic and captivating experience, a magnificent exposition of Cipriani's unique vision and genius.
