The lovers created by the fantasy of french Raymond Peynet became the protagonists of an Italian animation movie with screenplay by Manfredo Manfredi, based on the best-seller book by Peynet.This movie has debuted on the 14th june of 1974 becoming an huge popular success. For the music score were engaged two big names of Film Music: Academy winner Ennio Morricone and Alessandro Alessandroni, the famous whistle of many italian westerns, conductor of the famous choir of I Cantori Moderni, arranger and composer of several scores.In Japan from those days until today a 33 rpm album, two singles and in the more recent years three different hard to find today CD editions. To celebrate the 14th February, Valentine's day, world festivity of the lovers, GDM Music is glad to present this OST for the first time on Italian CD.The beautiful score with many ethnical colours by Alessandroni and the love theme by Morricone are the perfect background of the Peynet's lovers travelling around the world. The soundtrack in full stereo digitally remastered and restored comes directly from the original session tapes, contains every recorded music note, including the very much requested vocal version of 'Forse basta', the love theme written by Ennio Morricone in the very rare, splendid performance of Demis Roussos, contained in the movie and issued only on a very hard to find Japanese single.
