Directed by Jordi Grau in 1969, and starting Serena Vergano and Michael Craig, this introspective drama includes one of the Italian composer's most beautiful and indispensable works. A marvellous love theme in a waltz rhythm, beautiful melodism and highly romantic passages, a silent film piece, an extensive 'piano sources' catalogue, and a most daring approach to experimental music.
A Lavagino's unique work, and one of his favourites, whose recording counted on the orchestral conduction of Carlo Savina and a renowned piano soloist: the composer Armando Trovaioli. More than an one hour of terrific score, edited and mastered from the original ¼ tapes, vaulted in a perfect and wonderful monoaural sound.
