GDM Music presents for the first time on CD a score of Piero Umiliani, the OST of COLPO GOBBO ALL'ITALIANA (aka Getting Away With It The Italian Way) directed by Lucio Fulci in 1962. Main cast Mario Carotenuto, Marisa Merlini, Andrea Checchi, Gina Rovere, Gino Bramieri, Aroldo Tieri, Gabriele Antonini, Ombretta Colli, Nino Terzo. Night security guard, Orazio, asks the help of Nando, a hard thief well respected in the district, to find the gang responsible of a theft in the bank under the surveillance of Orazioo. Every thief of the district join in the search together with Nando to help Orazio. Piero Umiliani wrote a pleasant score. Jazz is the protagonist, but there are also love themes and Twist music. At that time RCA published a 45 rpm extended play with four tracks among which the amusing songs La Nottola Di Notte and Quello Che Bolle In Pentola, both performed by Gianni Meccia. The complete OST on this CD comes from the master tapes of the original session, digitally restored and remastered.
